Today, both UW and Laurier announced that they will be discontinuing in-person instruction at all campuses including at the BSIA, effective Monday, March 16. During the next week, instructors will provide students with information on how they will complete their courses. If you need clarity regarding these instructions, please contact either Kelly Brown ([email protected]) or Andrew Thompson ([email protected]).
Our third partner, CIGI, announced today that it will be offering a work-from-home option to all of its employees, effective Monday, March 16, for three weeks.
The BSIA and CIGI have cancelled all events until the end of April.
The Y Café located at the CIGI Campus has decided to close for at least the next three weeks as well.
As of right now, BSIA community members who have office/desk space at the BSIA will continue to have access to the building with their fob through the front doors (Erb St). Security will continue to be onsite 24/7. However, we recommend that anyone who can work from home, do so. And please keep in mind that this access could change at any time.
We will continue to update you on any changes as the situation evolves.
